Learners who are considering Diplomas should have attained relevant qualifications at Grade 8 before proceeding.

Level 4 Diplomas (QCF Level 4 Qualifications):

Acting, Mime, Musical Theatre, Speech & Drama and Public Speaking
Comprising 1 practical examination

Successful Learners will be entitled to append their name with the letters ANEA.

Level 5 Diplomas (QCF Level 5 Qualifications):

Speech & Drama, Public Speaking
Comprising 1 practical examination and a dissertation

Successful Learners will be entitled to append their name with the letters ANEA

A Speech & Drama or Public Speaking ANEA qualification can be used as accredited prior learning towards an LNEA Diploma, see below:

Level 6 Diplomas (QCF Level 6 Qualifications):

Speech & Drama (Teaching Diploma), Public Speaking
By attaining a Teaching Diploma in Speech & Drama, teachers will be able to teach all disciplines.

Comprising 1 practical examination, 1 observed teaching and a dissertation.

Those Learners who have successfully attained an ANEA will only need to undertake the dissertation and observed teaching to complete the LNEA.
Successful Learners will be entitled to append their name with the letters LNEA
